Fiat ECU Flasher is a free software that will allow you to read and write the ECU flash contents through the OBD port on vehicles produced by Fiat/Alfa/Lancia. The software was initially developed for internal use as a guide to help in the study of the communication protocols used in these cars.

The main functions are:

- Read flash;
- Write flash;
- Read DTC errors;
- Delete DTC errors.

You can use any standard USB to OBD dummy cable which uses a FTDI FT232 chip. Some example are:

- Generic OBD KL and KKL interfaces;
- VAGCOM 3.xx

It is necessary to have installed the FTDI drivers on the PC because this software uses the D2XX library to communicate with the cable.
